A human toe used to garnish drinks at a Canadian bar has been stolen, according to The Guardian.
Police have launched an investigation into the missing toe, which was apparently stolen by a patron Saturday.

The Downtown hotel in Dawson City has been serving a variation of the sourtoe cocktail--a shot of whiskey with a blackened toe--for 40 years. For those patrons brave enough to let the toe touch their lips, the bar will award a certificate.
This particular toe was donated by a man who had to have it surgically removed. For six months, the toe had been curing in salt and the bar had only begun to serve it last weekend.
"This was our new toe, and it was a really good one," said hotel manager Geri Coulbourne.
The fine for stealing or swallowing the toe will set you back $2,500.
