Dunkin' Donuts employee sprays donuts with bleach

No charges have yet been filed

OAKTON, Va. – Police are investigating an incident in which an employee at the Oakton, Virginia, Dunkin' Donuts allegedly sprayed donuts with bleach before giving them to a group of teenagers, The Washington Post reports.

According to police, the employee had previously given the teens donuts that would have otherwise been discarded at the end of the day. When the teens came back for more, the employee refused to serve them several times, but eventually told them to return later. Before the teens came back for the pastries, the employee had apparently sprayed them with a cleaning solution.

None of the teens were sickened, but some ate anywhere from just a bite to an entire donut. They contacted the police, but so far, no charges have been filed.
