A number of road closures will take place this weekend.
The US 290 HOV inbound/outbound exit ramp to Dacoma will be closing permanently on Saturday, Feb. 22. The closure is due to TxDOT’s reconstruction and widening of US 290.
Starting on Monday, February 24, HOV users heading inbound will be able to use the new Hempstead exit ramp.
Several other lanes will be closed so construction crews can work on the Grand Parkway.
In Cypress, the US 290 westbound ramp to SH 99 southbound will be closed from 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21 through 6 a.m. Feb. 24. Drivers will detour to Becker.
In Tomball on SH-249 southbound there will be an alternating lane closure from .25 miles north of Boudreaux to .5 miles south of Boudreaux beginning Saturday at 8 p.m. to Sunday at 6 a.m.
There will be a right lane closure on I-45 southbound from .30 miles south of Spring Crossing to Spring Stuebner from 8 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. until Sunday. Also, the left frontage road to I-45 southbound will be closed from Spring Crossing to Spring Stuebner until Sunday.
On US 59, two lanes on the northbound frontage road will be closed from .70 miles north of FM 1314 to Community Drive from 7a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
There will also be two right lane closures from 1 mile south of FM 1485 to .30 south Community Drive from 8 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. until Sunday.
