GALVESTON, Texas – Four people have been arrested and charged with murder after a 24-year-old was killed in Galveston on Jan 13.
According to Galveston police, the homicide happened near the 7000 block South Park Drive.

Police said they responded to multiple 911 calls around 1:10 a.m. and found Ethan Sigalas, 24, with a gunshot wound.
Sigalas was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at a nearby hospital, according to officials.
Roshawn Crookshank, 17, Jermaine Crookshank, 19, Dwayne Edgar, 20, and Christopher Short, 30, have all been charged with murder. Authorities said they believe that there are no more suspects in the case.
Roshawn and Jermaine Crookshank are being held in lieu of $150,000 bonds. Edgar is being held on $100,000 bond, and Short's bond was set at $80,000.
All four men have confessed to the crime, according to the Galveston Police Department.
Investigators said the four targeted Sigalas after finding out that he might have had marijuana, guns and a large amount of cash.
They tried to burglarize Sigalas' residence but weren't able to find anything, according to the Galveston Police Department. They then called Sigalas and asked to buy marijuana from him.
Once they met Sigalas, they tried to rob him at gunpoint, according to officials. Sigalas was also armed and exchanged gunfire with the would-be robbers.
Police said 14 rounds were fired by a total of three shooters. Sigalas was fatally struck in the chest, but none of the suspects were injured and they fled the scene.
Investigators said they were able to determine that the vehicle used by the suspects in the murder was a 2003-2009 Saturn Vue or Outlook. Authorities said they found pieces of a broken tail light, paint transfer and tire tracks.
Galveston police said they shared the vehicle description with neighboring law enforcement agencies. The League City Police Department had recently arrested one of the suspects involved in the case and found a white 2005 Saturn Vue at his residence. Officials said they found forensic evidence confirming it was the vehicle used in the homicide. They also found a weapon that was used to kill Sigalas.
"Once again, the tireless efforts and absolute commitment to the safety of this community by our detectives and officers has put four extremely dangerous criminals behind bars," Galveston Police Chief Henry Porretto said in a press release. "This is another senseless killing over narcotics. People are killing each other over $25 of marijuana. If there was ever a reason to quit, wouldn't that be it?"
