MISSOURI CITY, Texas -

A broken water main that caused 1,500 residents in Missouri City to go without water has been fixed, but the problems for families there are not over.

Public Works crews told Local 2 that although the problem has been solved, not everybody has had their water restored.

We're told this is affecting residents in the Quail Run subdivison, many of which have gone more than 24 hours without running water.

Crews believe weather was a factor in the water main break. Everyone in the area is still being told to boil their water until further notice.
