Water main break leads to lane closures in southwest Houston

HOUSTON - Crews are working to repair a broken water main in southwest Houston.

The water main broke on West Airport and Fondren.

Repair work has forced crews to close the westbound lanes of West Airport before Fondren. The eastbound lanes of West Airport have been turned into two-way traffic.

The broken pipe has been removed from the ground, and now crews are working to replace it.
