HOUSTON – Tuesday's morning lows dropped down to the upper 50s with overcast skies. Although we are still on the cool side, our temperatures are a few degrees warmer than yesterday morning.
It was cooler Monday night than on Tuesday morning. The clouds moved in overnight, helping to increase our temperatures by a few degrees in the morning.

The clouds should eventually give way to mostly sunny skies. A return of southeasterly winds out of the Gulf will also help our temperatures to warm up to the low 80s this afternoon.
Our work week warm up keeps on going with afternoon highs topping out around 90 by the end of the week.
