GALVESTON, Texas – An accused sexual offender and violent career criminal is off the streets, according to the Galveston Police Department.
Police said they arrested 38-year-old Christopher Mason and charged him with aggravated sexual assault stemming from an incident back in June.
Officers found Mason on Wednesday in Galveston. He was arrested after a brief standoff with police.
Mason is a confirmed Blood Gang member and is currently being held on $750,000 bond in the Galveston County Jail.
