The family of the innocent victim who was killed in a car crash Tuesday morning is demanding answers.
Natividad Alaniz, III’s family cried during Thursday’s court appearance for 18-year-old Dalia Alfaro.
Alaniz was on his way to work around 7 a.m. Tuesday when police said Alfaro tried to outrun officers in her truck.
Authorities said she was traveling 85 mph miles an hour when she broadsided Alaniz's car and killed him.
Alaniz's sister got emotional when speaking about her brother.
“I just want justice for my brother,” said Angela Leandro. “He was just going to work. It's not fair. He always looked out for us and we're going to fight for him.
Alfaro was a dancer at a gentleman’s club. The accident happened sometime after she left work.
Prosecutors said Alfaro's blood alcohol content was .16, which is twice the legal limit.
Alfaro is charged with murder and intoxication manslaughter. She’s being held on an $80,000 bond.
