Vandals target Golf Club of Houston, course where Houston Open is played

HOUSTON – Many laid-back golfers are left scratching their heads after two people were seen causing thousands of dollars' worth of damage to a popular Houston-area golf course last week.

The Golf Club of Houston said two people on an ATV caused anywhere from $10,000 to $15,000 of damage to one of their greens on June 23.

This is the third time in the past year and a half the course at 5860 Wilson Road in Humble has been targeted by vandals.

Police have been notified and are in the process of investigating the vandalism.
