HARRIS COUNTY – Three brothers have been charged after leading deputies on a 50-mile, high-speed chase that started in east Harris County and ended in southern Montgomery County.
On Sunday, deputies were responding to call for service about a man discharging a shotgun from a silver-colored late model Cadillac. While searching the area, deputies saw the vehicle in a parking lot at First Street and Market Street in Baytown.
Officials said two Harris County sheriff's patrol units pulled behind the vehicle. As deputy J. Ricamore, a seven- year veteran, approached the driver's side door, he ordered the driver to get out of car.
Authorities said that's when the driver put the vehicle in reverse at a high rate of speed. The front of the vehicle hit Deputy Ricamore in the leg.
The sheriff's office said Deputy Ricamore discharged his weapon at the vehicle and hit it three times. The Cadillac then speed away from the parking lot while deputies chased it. Â
Authorities said the suspects drove north to Interstate 10 east and then west towards the 610 Loop. Deputies observed the suspects throwing drugs from the vehicle.
The suspects then drove north on to the Southwest Freeway.
Officials said as the chase entered Montgomery County, near Kingwood, officers with the Houston Police Department assisted in trying to stop the suspects.

When the suspects tried to drive around one strip, the vehicle lost control and crashed on the feeder road.
Authorities said the suspects got out of the car and ran to a nearby wooded area.
Officers set up a perimeter and along with a HCSO K9 and HPD K9, all three suspects were taken into custody.
Officials said a shotgun was found in the vehicle.
The suspects were identified as 19-year-old Jacob Brawner, 22-year-old Joshua Brawner and 24-year-old Christopher Brawner.
The youngest brother is charged with assault with bodily injury on public servant, evading detention and evading in a motor vehicle. The middle brother is charged with evading detention, while the oldest brother is charged with tampering or fabricating evidence.
Deputy Ricamore was treated and released by paramedics at the scene.
