Car crashes into garage of house in Spring

SPRING, Texas – A car crashed into the garage of a house in Spring.

It happened Thursday just after 7:30 p.m. in the 2500 block of North Spring Drive.

Witnesses said they saw the vehicle and another speeding down the street when the accident happened.

Channel 2 was told the driver went through two different front yards, slammed into a tree, and hit two other vehicles before crashing into the home's garage.

The driver was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital.

The people inside the home at the time weren't hurt but certainly shaken by what happened.

Maria Sosa, the homeowner explained, "I was in the kitchen, making dinner, and my son just got home.

A few second later, I heard a really loud explosion. It really scared me, so I came out and saw this."

Harris County Sheriff's Precinct 4 constables were on the scene investigating.

No word if the driver is facing any charges because of this crash.
