UH students robbed at gunpoint

HOUSTON – The University of Houston put out a security alert after two students were robbed at gunpoint.

University of Houston officials said around 9:30 p.m. Saturday, someone knocked on the student's door at the Cambridge Oaks on Cullen Boulevard.

When one of the residents opened the door, officials said the suspect pointed a gun at his face and told him to get back inside the apartment.

UH officials said the victim was then taken to the bedroom where a roommate was studying. The crook then told both victims to give up their wallets, which they did, officials said.

The robber told the victims to stay in their room or he would shoot them, then took off.

No one was injured in the robbery.
