Woman completes college exam in hospital while in labor

MACON, GA – Being in labor didn't stop a Macon, Georgia woman from completing her college psychology test from the hospital bed.

You would think a college exam would be one of the last things on a woman's mind while in labor, but that wasn't the case for Tommitrise Collins.

Collins told an Atlanta TV station that it took several hours after starting the test to put the pain of the contractions aside.

Collins' sister, Shanell Brinkley-Chapman, posted a photo on Facebook of her in the hospital bed on Nov. 12 with the caption:

"This is what you call 'Strong Priorities.' Contractions 3 minutes apart and still takes her Psychology Test! You are going to be a great Mom baby sis!"

The photo has since gone viral.

Not only did Collins give birth to a healthy baby girl named tyler Elise, she ended up passing the exam.

Collins, however, was not happy with her score and requested a retake where she later received a B.

She is set to graduate in December with a Bachelor's degree in criminal justice.
