Two arrests in connection with deadly shooting in CVS parking lot

HOUSTON – Two arrests have been made in connection with a deadly shooting that happened in a CVS parking lot in July.

Frederick Osbey, 20, was arrested on Aug. 12. Arevha Oshotse, 19, was arrested on Aug. 6. Both are charged with capital murder.

According to court documents, both Osbey and Oshotse were both allegedly involved in the robbery and deadly shooting of Deandre Liggins, 21, outside the CVS in the 8900 block of Barker Cypress Road on July 3.

According to investigators, Liggins was trying to make an illegal drug sale. Investigators said the buyer then tried to rob Liggins. Investigators say there was a struggle over a gun and Liggins was shot.

Liggins was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
