HOUSTON – A truck fire on northbound lanes of Interstate 45 is causing traffic backups.
Houston Transtar cameras captured footage of firefighters trying to extinguish an 18-wheeler in flames at I-45 and Rankin Road near the Greenspoint Area.

The fire has been put out, but traffic is backed up for a short distance and several lanes are blocked. The nearby ramp from the Beltway is blocked.
