Truck burglarized after thief sees driver stow cash in console

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A man burglarizes a truck after watching a man withdrawal crash from the bank and leave it in his console to get lunch, deputies say.

A man withdrew money from a bank on the 6300 block of North Eldridge Parkway on Nov. 10 around 11:20 a.m. and put the money in the console of his truck, according to authorities.

The man then drove to a taco stand on the 11200 block of FM 529 around 11:45 a.m. for lunch, officials said.

After he got back from lunch at 12 p.m. he noticed his front window was completely shattered and his money was gone, according to deputies.

Surveillance video caught two men in a gray Dodge Ram truck. The one burglar who broke into the car was described as a black male with short black hair and a black beard, deputies said.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and/or arrest of the suspect in this case.
