Prosecutors will continue to try to get a conviction in the Mona Nelson trial. A cadaver dog expert was on the first on stand Tuesday.
Nelson is charged with capital murder in the death of 12-year-old Jonathan Foster. His badly burned body was found stuffed in a culvert in December 2010.
Nelson has maintained her innocence and over the objections of her own attorney she has opted for a judge, not a jury, to decide her fate.
We'll have more from the courtroom tonight on Local 2 News at 4, 5 and 6.
