HOUSTON – The first in a series of Super Bowl events called the Touchdown Tour is scheduled for Oct. 8 at Mason Park, at 75th Street and Tipps Street.

The Touchdown Tour is hosted by the Houston Super Bowl Host Committee, and is intended to get football fans ready for the big game.

The tour will consist of 11 days throughout the months leading up to the Super Bowl on Feb. 5. The events will feature games, photo booths, music and giveaways. All of the events will take place between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

“Not everyone will be able to be in the seats at NRG Stadium on game day in February, but that should not mean they don’t get to experience the fun,” Mayor Sylvester Turner said.

More information is available at the host committee’s website, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
