SUMMARY:
For TUTS' season opener, American Idol star and Tony Award nominee Constantine Maroulis joins with Grammy Award nominee and R&B superstar Deborah Cox to inject new life into the classic tale of good and evil, Jekyll & Hyde. The dark and dangerous love story from Tony and Grammy Award nominee Frank Wildhorn and Oscar and Grammy winner Leslie Bricusse returns to the city where it got its start in a stunning new pre-Broadway production, directed by Tony Award nominee Jeff Calhoun, and includes all the classic songs (This is the Moment, A New Life, Someone Like You) that first grabbed audiences by the throat and transformed Jekyll & Hyde into a theatrical phenomenon.

Tickets start at $24.  Call 713-558-TUTS (8887), email boxoffice@TUTS.com, or visit www.TUTS.com for tickets.

OTHER UPDATED EVENT DATES:

Jekyll & Hyde Blood Drive:  Tuesday, Oct. 9 and Wednesday, Oct. 10; 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
To celebrate a "bloody" good time, TUTS has partnered with our season sponsor St. Luke's Episcopal Health System to host a blood drive at Hobby Center.  Medical technology has provided many life-saving discoveries over the years, but there is still no substitute for blood. In a medical emergency, often the most important element is the availability of blood. Blood donations can help a variety of individuals: trauma victims, surgery patients, premature babies, individuals with anemia, cancer patients and many more.  Blood donors on both days will receive a promotional code for discounted tickets to see the show.  Visit TUTS.com/Events to learn more about the blood drive.

Pre-show Informance with Frank Wildhorn:  Wednesday, Oct. 10; 6:30 – 7:15 p.m.
Frank Wildhorn, composer of Jekyll & Hyde, will offer a pre-show informance for theatre goers in Hobby Center's Founder's Club.  At the informance, TUTS Artistic Director Bruce Lumpkin will dialogue with Frank Wildhorn about the development, background and journey of Jekyll & Hyde.  This event is free for all Oct. 10 ticket holders.  Call 713-558-TUTS (8887), email boxoffice@TUTS.com, or visit www.TUTS.com for tickets.
