Three wanted in armed robbery of auto parts store

HOUSTON – The Harris County Sheriff's Office is looking for three men they say committed a violent armed robbery.

It happened around 9:50 p.m. on May 22 at an auto parts store on the 13700 block of Bissonnet Street.

The men rushed the store while wielding guns and wearing masks, according to investigators. Officials say they assaulted two store employees and pointed guns to their heads.

The men ordered the workers to a back room and demanded they open the safe, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office. The men left after taking an unspecified amount of cash. Authorities say one of the men kicked a worker in the chest as they were leaving.

The robbers are described only as being teenagers or in their early 20s.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $5,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest.
