The store was full of customers, including a couple holding a baby, and investigators said one of the men blocked the door while the other two took money, wallets and cellphones from customers and employees.

They got away in a gray, newer-model Dodge Avenger, police said.

Police said they counted a total of 40 seconds from the time they entered and the time they held everyone up at gunpoint.

"They were very nonchalant about going inside," Ken Nealy of the HPD Robbery Division said.

Dana Schafer wasn't physically in the store on March ;3, but he was connected to the business via telephone, speaking to a sales rep.

"It's not what you normally think of when you think about robberies. A car lot? Come on," Schafer said. "I called back and he goes, 'We just got robbed.'"
