Threat sparks extra security at Friendswood High School

FRIENDSWOOD, Texas – A profanity-laced threat found on a bathroom wall prompted school officials to step up security as they search for the culprit.

The graffiti was found Tuesday, but officials think it may have been written Monday on a bathroom wall at Friendswood High School.

School officials said the note read in part, "5-3-13... all will die."

In a letter sent home to parents, school officials said the high school is currently investigating to identify the author of the threat. They asked anyone with information about the threat to give them a call.

On Tuesday, officials said extra security was added on campus, as well as security sweeps at the school. Extra police patrols were scheduled to be added May 3 unless the culprit has been caught.
