HOUSTON - Thousands of people who were left in the dark during Tuesday's storms are still dealing with the cold without power.
Many people in the Kingwood area have been without power since 10:30 A.M. Christmas morning.
That's when storms brought down trees, knocking out power.
Entergy said the trees were weakened by the drought and couldn't handle the weather conditions.
Most of the outages are to the northern part of Montgomery County.
Entergy says they have crews trying to restore the power.
They have reached out to linesman in Louisiana for additional help.
