Thieves targeting convenience stores in Pasadena

Police: 5 stores hit so far

HOUSTON – Police are looking for a group of thieves who are targeting convenience stores in the Pasadena area.

The men are after easy money. Police believe they've hit five gas stations so far.

Two of the robberies were carried out on March 3. One was at a Gulf Gas Station at 2715 Strawberry Road and the other was at the Fuel Expo at 3500 Fairmont Parkway.

Three days later, Jack's Grocery was hit on March 6. It's located at 2743 Preston.

The last two robberies happened out on March 23. One was at a Texaco at 2626 Spencer Highway and the other was at a Valero at 921 State Highway 225.

Surveillance video from one robbery shows a thief with a ski mask pointing a shotgun at a woman and two children.

Police said the men always wear black ski masks and use a sawed-off shotgun.

All the crimes have been committed between 10 p.m. and midnight.
