Thieves force their way into ice house in east Houston

One person being questioned in case

HOUSTON - One person is being questioned after thieves forced their way into an east Houston ice house.

It happened around 2:30 a.m. Thursday on East Lockwood and Liberty.

When officers arrived they found a hole in the wall, where the thieves tore out an air conditioning unit to get inside.

A man who was outside is being questioned.

The thieves searched for cash in the register, but did not get or take anything.
