Thieves caught breaking into home

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas – Two people were caught on camera breaking into a Montgomery County home through a garage door.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office said the burglary occurred on Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Timbergreen subdivision in the Pinehurst, Stagecoach area.

Surveillance video showed the first burglar walk through an open garage door and bust through the kitchen door. The second one was not far behind as he casually strolled in the home and covered his face.

The homeowner came home to find the broken door and her jewelry missing.

"I think you feel extremely violated," said the homeowner. "Because you lose not only your monetary things but your memories. The Christmas gifts. The things you picked up on family vacation. Things that my late mother and law had."

On surveillance tape, one man casually walked out, again covering his face. The second guy strolled out carrying the home Kimberly's cardboard boot box full of her priceless jewels.

The Montgomery County Sheriff office is asked for help finding the burglars.

The sheriff's spokesman said, "One suspect is a white/male late 20's to mid-30's wearing a stocking over his head with a light blue buttoned up collared shirt. The other suspect is a white male, mid to late 20's wearing a light blue pullover shirt. No vehicle was seen. A variety of jewelry that includes rings, necklaces, and watches were stolen."
