BAYTOWN, Texas – Residents in a Baytown neighborhood are being overly cautious after a thief stole a neighbor's trailer with two very expensive riding lawnmowers on it.
The theft happened in the 2000 block of Fayle on Monday.
"Somebody apparently had hooked onto it and drove it out past the other side of his house," said Prentiss Parker.
Neighbors said they're not sure how the thief managed to get away undetected. They were under the impression the trailer's tires were flat.
"We're putting our lawnmower in the back yard and keeping it out of sight because they're cutting locks," said Andy Liles.
