HOUSTON – A family is recovering after, investigators said, a crook ransacked their home and took off with some valuable items.
Harris County sheriff's deputies said the attack happened around 1 p.m. Thursday at a home in the 13700 block of Springpoint View in southwest Harris County.

Investigators said the invader busted through the family's back door and began ransacking the house.
The crook stole a TV and some other items before taking off in the family's car, deputies said.
