The Woodlands teens accused of Florida crime spree after posting Snapchat videos

HOUSTON – Two teenagers from The Woodlands are accused in a multiday crime spree in Florida after deputies said they posted videos of the incidents on Snapchat.

Mark Billiot, 18, and Donovan Estrada, 18, are facing charges of burglary, vehicle burglary, criminal mischief over $1,000 and grand theft. More charges could be forthcoming after deputies said the pair admitted to the burglaries.

According to Walton County deputies, residents in the Nature Walk subdivision Wednesday reported car burglaries and said that a model home had been vandalized.

Deputies said they spotted a vehicle with damage to the left rear fender behind a house of one of the victims, and the car matched the description of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run Monday on I-10.

According to investigators, Billiot and Estrada drove from Texas to Florida and used Snapchat to highlight their alleged criminal activity since arriving in the Sunshine State, including showing off several pairs of Ray-Ban sunglasses that they claim to have purchased while in Panama City Beach.

Investigators said the same sunglasses had been stolen by people matching the teens' description from Sunglass Hut at Pier Park in Panama City Beach.

"These two were arrested within hours of the initial call," Walton County Sheriff Michael Adkinson said. "That's great police work."
