HOUSTON – Jim "Mattress Mack" McIngvale is known for his sports-related promotions at his furniture store. Sometimes he wins big. Sometimes customers win big. Thursday, McIngvale announced another wager. if the Astros win it all, customers get it all.
Here's the pitch: If the Astros win the final championship series in 2017, Gallery Furniture customers who purchased $3,000 or more of mattresses, box foundations or adjustable bed bases will get a full refund.

"It's a great way to re-engage with our loyal customers and attract new ones,” says McIngvale. “We’re thrilled to be able to host such a fun promotion for Houstonians and give them another reason to get excited about our Astros this season.”
This isn't the first time McIngvale has offered a promotion like this. In 2014, he refunded $4 million in furniture when the team won more than 63 games. In 2016, he offered refunds to customers who bought mattress sets for $2,000 or more and correctly guessed the political party that would win the presidency. In that case, the store paid back about $10 million.
