HOUSTON – A women is recovering after being shot while unloading groceries from her car in the Greenspoint area.
The shooting happened at around 12 p.m. Thursday outside of the Canfield apartments on Northborough Drive. Neighbors tell us the woman was shot multiple times after returning from the grocery store with her kids.

They say four shots were fired and the woman's children were screaming.
The woman was transported to the hospital. Her condition is unknown at this time.
Police have an investigation underway.
