HOUSTON - A woman crashed and got trapped in her car after driving the wrong way on an a southwest Houston feeder road, police said.
The crash happened around 10 p.m. Sunday at the Beltway 8 feeder road near Beechnut.
Witnesses said the vehicle was traveling the wrong way on the access road before the crash. Officials said she hit a curb and the car flipped.
Rescue crews had to use the jaws of life to free her from her vehicle. She was taken to a hospital where police said she would be tested to see if she was under the influence of alcohol.
The driver's condition was not released.
