HOUSTON – A woman was arrested after leading police on a chase in northeast Houston Monday.
The chase started in the 11000 block of Evanston Street near the Bandera Street at 3 a.m. Police said they tried to pull the driver over because she was in a stolen van. She refused to stop and drove off, according to investigators.

After chasing her a few blocks, the woman crashed into a ditch near Evanston Street and Orleans Street.
She was taken into custody and charged with felony evading.
Police said other charges were pending.
