Were 21 Calhoun County sheep killed by aliens?

The Mutual UFO Network, or MUFON, is also examining the possibility

HOUSTON – A Calhoun County property owner is not ruling out the possibility that aliens mutilated and killed his 21 sheep.

A UFO investigation association, the Mutual UFO Network, or MUFON, is also examining the possibility.

"If you want me to say the aliens are getting them, I won't say that. I just don't have any idea," Wayne Daggs, the sheeps' owner, said by phone.

Daggs noted that since March his sheep have been killed and brutally dismembered at an alarming rate, but he left room for another explanation.

"I think, personally, it's some sort of cult thing or satanic thing, or something like that," Daggs said.

Curiously little blood has been found at the crime scenes, and the ground near the sheep carcasses appears largely undisturbed.

"It's pretty confusing really. We don't have a lot to go on because we don't have a lot of evidence that someone was here," Calhoun Co. Deputy Bobbie Vickery said.

Outside of the official police investigation MUFON has sent an "incident investigator" to the scene.

Charles Stansburge was not yet ready to render a verdict on Thursday.

"We're going to try to get to the bottom of this and see if it is an actual alien type, a predator, or even a human," Stansburge said.
