BAYTOWN, Texas – Raw security footage shows a man stealing catalytic converters from a Baytown mechanic shop on October 28th.
It was the shop's first theft since it opened for business eight years ago.
Feliz Galzez, the shop's owner, said the man used a window to get inside the shop.
Video shows a suspect looking inside boxes before grabbing two of them and taking off.
"We called police and we also talked to other businesses and they say they have seen a guy looking around at their properties as well," said Eric Galvez, an assistant mechanic at the shop.
Police said the stolen converters were worth about $946. Anyone who recognizes the man in the video is asked to call police.
