Victim of violent robbery speaks out

Suspect's accused of attempting to carjack and rob three different women in violent attacks

HOUSTON – Louis Brandy Stredic is a convicted burglar and rapist with a long, violent, criminal history who specifically targets women.

Now, he is accused of attempting to carjack and rob three different women in violent attacks.

Sarah Cannon, 26, is a sales representative for a major hair care company who was attacked last February by Stredic. Cannon says she was lucky to escape with her life after Stredic approached her at a CVS Pharmacy on Buffalo Speedway and violently threw her into her own car and attacked her.

"I feel like this man has the devil inside of him.  He threw me into my car, across the car and started beating the (expletive) out of me.  At the same time, the whole time he was choking me to death with one hand on my throat," Cannon says.

Somehow Cannon says she managed to flash her headlights and bump her car horn a couple of times during the attack and a worker at CVS came out and drove her attacker off.

Just as she thought he would take her life, Cannon says Stredic started sexually assaulting her.

"He had me in a position... and he started molesting me and started kissing me all over my face," Cannon told us.

Less than an hour later police report that Stredic carjacked another woman less than a mile away at another drug store.

"This man does not deserve to be alive. He is an extremely violent man," Cannon said.

Stredic is being held in the Harris County Jail.  He faces three counts of felony robbery and will be arraigned in a few weeks.
