UH student robbed at gunpoint

HOUSTON – A University of Houston student was robbed at gunpoint in the Cullen Oaks parking garage.

Around 12:18 a.m. Saturday, police said a man approached the student from behind, pulled out a semi-automatic handgun, and robbed the victim of her cellphone.

According to reports, the suspect is approximately 5'10" to 6'0" tall with a thin build.  He was wearing a white t-shirt and black shorts with a red stripe down the sides at the time of the robbery.

Police said the suspect drove off in a dark-colored, two-door, older model Buick that had a vinyl roof.
