HOUSTON - One of the men on the Texas ten most wanted sex offender list was arrested in Houston.

Clemente Alejandro Davila, 27, was wanted for failing to comply with sex offender requirements.

Members of the U.S. Marshals Service Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force arrested Davila around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.

In 2006, Davila was convicted of aggravated sexual assault of a child for an incident in Caldwell County involving a 12-year-old girl.

He was sentenced to TDCJ prison and released in 2010, on ten years probation.

So far in 2014, DPS and other agencies have arrested 11 Texas ten most wanted fugitives, including five sex offenders and four gang members, and $34,500 in rewards has been paid for tips that resulted in arrests.

Davila's arrest was not the result of a DPS Crime Stoppers tip, so no reward will be paid.
