HOUSTON – The man accused of killing six people in the Milwaukee suburb Sikh Temple shooting also had a criminal record in Texas.
Wade Michael Page pled guilty to criminal mischief in El Paso back in 1994.
Page was sentenced to jail for 90 days and put under supervision afterwards.
Investigators said the 40-year-old Army vet had ties to white supremacist heavy metal bands and frequently posted comments on internet forums for skinheads.
Meanwhile, in Washington, President Barack Obama ordered the U.S. flag at the White House and other federal buildings to be flown at half-staff.
