Texas City, TEXAS – Shopping enthusiasts in Texas City will have a new hotspot to scour for deals when the Tanger Outlets mall opens its doors Friday.
The outlet is scheduled to open for business at 9 a.m. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. Kris Allen, American Idol season 8 winner, has been tapped to perform for shoppers at 7 p.m.
The shopping center, which features 80 designer brand stores, is located on the Gulf Freeway near Holland Road.
Throughout the opening weekend, shoppers will enjoy savings, fashions, strolling entertainment, a fashion photo booth and more, the outlet said.
