HOUSTON – A man has been arrested and charged in connection with a deadly shooting in southeast Houston.
Kirk Rhodes, 34, has been charged with murder.
Houston police said Michael Cohen, 53, was shot in the head at the Sago Pines Apartments on Schroeder Road near Griggs Road about 11:15 p.m. Wednesday.
Police said they found the gun used in the killing.
Cohen did not live at the apartment complex, but he did live in the area, investigators said
"I don't know why someone would do that," said Cohen's twin sister, Michele. "Just carelessness. It's senseless. He wouldn't harm a flea."
