Surveillance video released in Baytown bar beating

BAYTOWN, Texas – Police are hoping newly released surveillance video will help them find the men who attacked two others outside a Baytown bar.

The beating occurred on the night of May 2 at the Limelight Club.

The video shows two different camera angles.

Officials said the two victims and their friends were leaving the bar when they encountered a red pickup truck.

Though the victims first said nothing happened outside the bar, police think the video shows there was a verbal fight between the victims and the people in the truck.

Another camera angle captured what happened next.

The driver and a passenger of the truck got out and start beating the two victims.

The attackers wailed on the victims and then got back in their truck and drove away.

Police are hoping somebody will recognize the truck or know who drives that model.

Officials said the red truck has mud tires and is elevated.

If you know who these men or recognize the truck, you're asked to call the Baytown Police Department at 281-422-8371.
