HOUSTON - Burglars broke into a northwest Houston convenience store and took thousands of dollars worth of cigarettes.
Around 2 a.m. Wednesday, Houston police responded to an alarm call and found the front doors broken at the Little Buddy store in the 2300 block of White Oak.
Officers said the burglars broke open the front doors' gate guard and used a crowbar to get inside the store.
Police searched the store, but said the suspect or suspects had already left the scene.
According to the store manager, the burglars emptied two cigarette racks and got away with $7,000 worth of merchandise.
No arrests have been made.
