Investigators found a small, four-door car surrounded by a significant amount of debris.  That debris consisted of the car's engine, its transmission and most of the material found inside the hood of the car.

Police said the driver failed to make a curve in the road and slammed into a concrete, noise-pollution barrier.  The force of the crash caused the upper portion of that concrete barrier to collapse.

Debris flying from the car hit two passing cars.  Neither driver was injured.

The driver of the car involved in the crash has not been identified.
