HOUSTON – Houston firefighters spent nearly 30 minutes battling a fire at a town home in southwest Houston Monday.
Fire crews responded to the town homes in the 6600 block of Minola Street near Durford Drive at 4:45 a.m.

Investigators told Local 2 crews initially had trouble reaching the fire, which allowed flames to spread to the walls of the neighboring town home.
No injures were reported and the cause remains under investigation.
