HOUSTON – Emergency crews responded to a small plane fire on a runway at George Bush Intercontinental Airport.
Officials the small plane landed just after 3 p.m. Wednesday with two people on board.
Authorities said the plane had a hot tire when it landed on the runway.
Firefighters responded and put water on the plane as a precaution.
The two passengers onboard were able to get out of the plane safely without injury.
