Police: Teen charged with arson after portable toilet fire

HOUSTON - A teenager is charged with arson after investigators said he lit a portable toilet on fire.

Arson investigators said Bryce Joseph, 18, and another teen were setting off fireworks in the bayou behind the port-a-can in the 12000 block of Sterlingstone Drive in July.

At some point the teens decided to place a firework inside the toilet paper holder inside the port-a-can, officials said.

Investigators said witnesses identified the teens who were quickly arrested by police.

Joseph has been charged with felony reckless arson.

No word on charges for the other teen involved.
