Police searching for north Houston bank robber

Crook described as 'heavy set,' with a possible goatee at the time of robbery

HOUSTON – A man who robbed a bank in north Houston has so far managed to elude authorities.

Around 10 a.m. Tuesday, officials said the robber walked into the Capitol One bank on Greens Road near I-45. Once inside, investigators said the crook walked up to the counter and handed the teller a note demanding cash.

Officials said he never showed a weapon, but did manage to get away with some money.

The robber is described as a heavy-set man, about 6 feet tall and he may have had a goatee. At the time of the crime, investigators said he was wearing a red cap and black shirt.
