Police search for driver in deadly hit & run

Woman was killed by a hit & run driver in Humble

HUMBLE, Texas – Humble police are looking for the driver who hit and killed a woman walking home from a night club.

Police said Jacquelyn Froebe, 31, was walking from Club Alibi on FM 1960 at about 2:40 a.m. on Saturday.

Police said Froebe was with a group of people at the club when she decided to go home.

Police said she while walking home she was hit and killed by a white Mini Cooper.

Witnesses told police the driver got out of the car, saw the woman on the ground then drove away.

"He hit her and just left," said friend Ashley Payne."Everybody is taking it hard."

Investigators said they know who they're looking for, but haven't found him yet.
